Automatic Potentiometric Titrators

Q
Should we measure with the titration nozzle submerged in the sample solution?
A

Yes, measure with the titration nozzle submerged in the sample solution.
If titration is performed when the tip of the titration nozzle is above the liquid surface, liquid droplets might collect at the nozzle tip and not drip into the sample solution. This will cause errors when titrating with trace quantities and precision injection control.
The correct measurement method is to immerse the tip so that the titration solution discharged from the nozzle tip diffuses into the sample solution as is. At KEM, scattering-prevention nozzles are available, so please make use of them.
